NEXTGen A look back at some of Detroit’s summer events.
NEXTGen Detroit has had an eventful summer this year with multiple successful sell-out events. Programs range from rooftop yoga to his 1970s-themed bowling nights, foam and foam dirty (daytime parties), pickleball events, and more.
NEXTGen Board and Social Committee member Zack Slabotsky has participated in multiple events. He hosted and hosted a sold-out pickleball event at the Beverly Hills Club on Southfield Road this summer.
“The Pickleball with Chicken on the Side event was a great opportunity to introduce new people and the game of Pickleball,” said Slabotsky.
“We know it’s a sport that’s rapidly growing in popularity, and there’s been a lot of interest in learning the game and the opportunity to learn with a good group of people. NEXTGen Detroit , provides a great forum for doing that.”
NEXTGen Detroit board member Daniel Snyder says being actively involved in the Jewish community is one of his passions. Snyder chaired the ’70s Night at Bowlero at Royal Oak in June.
“It was a 70’s themed retro style fun night where people dressed up in a festive mood and enjoyed 70’s style food like carrot cake, meatballs, pasta salad and bowling of course! So… We really felt like we were reliving time,” Snyder said.
Held on the roof of Citizen Yoga in Royal Oak, Slow Burn in the Sky is also one of NEXTGen Detroit’s sold-out events this summer. The event was organized by the NEXTGen Detroit Balance Committee on June 15th, where NEXTGen Detroit took yoga classes for all levels and had the chance to enjoy a healthy meal at the Beyond Juice Acai Dream Bowl Bar. I was.
Marni Liebermann, NEXTGen Detroit Balance Chair, said:
NEXTGen Detroit has a variety of events for everyone, making NEXTGen Detroit an easy place to meet new people, adds Slabotsky.
“If you haven’t been to the NEXTGen Detroit event yet. We have a lot of great programs for the rest of the year. We look forward to seeing you at the event.”
