Allen County: Allen County Archers are shooting 3D the first Saturday and Sunday of each month through September. Open to all devices. They also have a traditional 3D shoot every third Saturday of the month, weather permitting. They are open to all archery equipment. The Archers hosts a traditional bow “Stamp Shoot” on the fourth Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Lima: Children are taken to Summer of Discovery at 345 S. Elizabeth St. at the Lima Family YMCA through August 19th. Space is limited, so parents are encouraged to register early for camp packets available at her YMCA desk. The fee is $85 per week for members and $110 for non-members. Cridersville: The Equestrian Therapy Program will hold a volunteer orientation and training session on Thursday, September 8th at 5pm at Facett Farm, 22532 Grubb/Bowsher Road. Delphos: An excursion to support UNOH Sport Marketing and Management’s trip to Super Bowl LVII and other hands-on learning experiences in conjunction with Delphos Canal Days will take place at Delphos Country Club on September 17th. The cost is $75 per player. Registration will begin at 6:45am and shotguns will begin at 8:00am, followed by the awards presentation. Horseshoes

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers at 1815 C St. have vacancies in league and doubles. Open Doubles starts at 8:30 am on Saturday. A cornhole league is forming. Lima: Pickleball is played at the Bradfield Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11am. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The Lima YMCA hosts open pickleball play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to noon (by appointment only). Free for YMCA members, $3 per visit for non-members, $20 per month for non-members (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at limaymca.net. Call 419-223-6045 for more information.

Lima: WAR Wrestling turns 20 on Saturday, September 10th. United We Stand takes place at the Empowered Sports Center (formerly Northland Lanes) at 1730 N Union Street. VIP doors open at 5:30pm, general doors open at 6:30pm, wrestling scheduled to start at 7pm. Ripper Blackheart and Wiseguy vs. Rad Boys, Jake Wiley and Braden Elliott, Ariel Alexander and agent Nick Hahn vs. Harley Fairfax. Crash Jackson, Damien Chambers, Apollo Starr, Espiritu Maya, Austin Mannix, Jacob Rose, Brandon Day, Big James B, Mojo McQueen, Cody Hawk, Jimmy Shane, Will The Thrill, Jexie Black, and Slick will also appear, Rick Toms.

Spencerville: The 45th Annual Allcomers Cross Country Meet will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 6:00 pm at Spencerville High School at 600 School Street.
